Advanced Parkinson's Clinic Dr Venkata Chaitanya, consultant in palliative medicine, started attending the multidisciplinary Parkinson's clinic once per month in 2016. Dr Sarah Awan has now taken over this role. She advises on symptom management in advanced disease. She encourages people with Parkinson's to have their say. She helps carers consider their options for care towards the end of life. She also provides training and advice to other members of staff. |
