Education Courses.

PD education, exercise and relaxation course for people with PD and carers. This is an 8 week course which runs about 3 times per year in the Specialist Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (SPARC) at London Road Community Hospital, Derby. Topics covered include:
-What is PD?
-Accessing services
-Medications
-Speech therapy
-Diet

PD education Course Ripley.
Ripley Hospital hosts a Education and Exercise group for people with Parkinson's disease within the Amber Valley locality.  Carers are also invited to attend.  The group runs approximately 3 times a year.  It runs over a 6 week period, 2 hours per week, offering education about Parkinson's disease and practical exercise sessions.
